This is an indoor Kitchen Compost Bin - use outdoors may affect longevity. Both the bin and filter can be washed in warm soapy water. Do not place in the dishwasher. We advise against placing hot food in the Compost Bin as the heat and condensation can affect longevity. Make sure the filter and the bin are both air dried before reassembly. <br /><br />
Store bin liners in a cool dry place away from heat and direct sunlight. <br /><br />
For the Dish Bar - wet your sponge and rub it on the Dish Bar to create suds. Repeat as needed. Wash dishes and rinse well. Works in warm or cold water - though we recommend warm for best results. Use it until it's gone - any leftovers are compostable.
