Lunch Prep Containers | 12pk

These are great for when you're storing meals that are for a family, maybe you're going to a friends house and taking something to share. But also for things where you don't necessarily want to split them into smaller meals first and are able to store them in one space. I can think of a number of pasta and meat recipes by Chef Jack Ovens (on YouTube) to whom these wet food storage containers would work fantastically well! I was able to get 8 x 500ml square for the batch cooking and have meals prepped and ready to go. But I wanted the two different sizes of these 1100ml and 1900ml (and I got a pair of 1400ml rectangle ones also), so that I was able to adapt what I needed to do depending on what I was cooking and how much room I needed. Not only are they great quality and so versatile with the fact that they can work in the freezer, fridge, microwave, oven and a dishwasher (if you're lucky enough to have one), they use the venting system AND they are able to be stacked well (as you can see in the picture) which as long as you don't push down hard on them, will save you space and what kitchen isn't looking to try and do that? Really grateful that my mum was generous to buy these as my Christmas present in 2024.

As I live alone and I have a medical condition that means I can't usually eat large meals at a time, I thought that the 500ml pack would be perfect sizing for me. So far, it is! I am working on changing from all the old plastics and working on changing to very good quality glass products that hopefully will last for very many years. I love these items because you can place them in the Freezer (I have one picture with some ice cream to prove it was in the freezer), in the fridge (again in the picture you can see some cold pressed juice to show that those ones were in the fridge), the microwave, the oven and the dishwasher. That makes these really versatile for food prep and ensuring that you have meals particularly those nights that you simply don't want to cook! They have a venting system in them. My only recommendation is to turn each one that you stack 90 degrees so that the venting evens out the balance of them. Am very thankful that I was able to get these as a Christmas present from my mother!

I ordered these amongst a group of different sizes of the same set of glass food containers. I wanted to have some that were larger in size for times when I didn't want to divide meals into their portion sizes but I didn't necessarily want to put a whole batch meal in one container and only each that for a week or two either! (I live alone.) What I love predominantly about these containers is that they can go in the freezer, the fridge, the microwave (and they have a little air release gap to use), the oven and the dishwasher (I don't have that but you never know when that will change!). Because of this it means basically any meal that I make that I am able to or intend to reheat OR for example I make a batch of fire cider and at the time didn't have the right jars, so this worked great in the mean time. Same with salsa criola and similar. The versatility makes the slightly larger sizes of great value.
