Aesthetics meets functionality

I bought these containers as part of my personal drive to reduce plastic waste and improve my health and wellbeing.

Being glass and bamboo they certainly tick the first.

They also help me to tick my second goal on a number of levels.

Firstly, using glass which is non-toxic for food storage, means I am avoiding toxic chemicals which can leach from plastic containers. The chemicals which can leach from plastic containers can amongst various affects, disrupt hormones and pose serious health risks.

Secondly, I can easily see what I have stored in these containers.

And thirdly, they look beautiful. I believe appreciating beauty and having and experiencing through all the senses , beauty things, enhances my wellbeing.

nice size and quality

Sometimes you just need a round dish and these are great. The lid fits tightly and the bamboo is nice. They are a bit hefty, but reasonable being glass. Got them on sale...otherwise a bit pricey. Used them at the local carols on the weekend and it was good. Realised that glass containers can be tricky for events...
