I have been so incredibly happy since starting my composting journey using the kitchen compost starter set!
Firstly, I was shocked at how many raw food scraps otherwise would have gone directly to landfill, but it also seems to be a talking piece in my kitchen when visitors come over!
It sits discreetly on my kitchen counter out of direct sun, whilst looking just like a beautiful big canister but emits NO SMELL! I am amazed!
I’ve found myself researching and looking into composting and as a result I do feel like every little bit does help in some capacity- living in a city too I sometimes feel like my small changes aren’t making much of an impact but even seeing the volume of waste I’m now composting actually has been a source of comfort.
Have had many people asking for updates on the composting and have also noted this would be a wonderful sustainable Christmas gift!

I loved my compost bin so much, that I bought another one as a Christmas present for my Mum! The colour options mean you can match it to any kitchen, and the compost bags mean there is minimal mess when you empty the bin (even though it is super easy to clean with a quick wash or hose). It's a super stylish and practical addition to any kitchen. If you're on the fence about purchasing one, take the chance...you won't regret it!
