A Smooth Way to Smoothie Prep!

Mornings can be a hectic time.  If there's anything we can do to save a few precious moments in the morning we’ll do it! It’s taken a few years of perfecting, but we’ve discovered a couple of ways to save some precious time, sustainably, in the mornings & we wanted to share these with you (you’re welcome!).

  • Up your meal prep game by investing in some Silicone Pouches

  • Our Silicone Fresh Food Pouches are a lifesaver. One of our favourite ways to use them is to prepare produce for our morning smoothies. On a Sunday, we’ll grab 5 pouches & portion out our fresh ingredients into them ready for Monday through to Friday.

These silicone reusable pouches are a straight swap for a single use zip lock bag.  Silicone pouches are airtight & leak proof so you can use them to store just about anything!

Instead of taking 10 minutes to find, chop, scoop & add all your ingredients to a blender in the morning, all you need to do now is reach for a pouch, tip everything in, add some water or milk and blend - it’s as simple as that!  We then add our smoothie to our Smoothie Cup with Travel Lid & off we go!

  • Ice Cube Hack

  • Do you ever find yourself with leftover ingredients, herbs or food that's about to go off & you want to save them from the compost or landfill? Who are we kidding, of course you do!  This is another game changing hack to get maximum flavour into your smoothies, with minimum time & fuss.

We’ve recently become best friends with our ice cube trays - they’re amazing for prolonging fresh produce.  We’ll mix together leftover ingredients like ginger, lime & mint with a splash of water & freeze it in trays ready to be added to a smoothie. This preserves the ingredients and gives a big burst of flavour to a morning smoothie!

Here’s one of our favourite smoothie recipes that we’ve been adding these frozen cubes to:
