Wave Hill Station is nestled in the farmlands northwest of Grafton. I've been coming here for nearly 10 years to escape the luxuries and distractions of modern living. It's a place where time has stood still.
With no wifi or even phone reception, two days here is equivalent to weeks elsewhere.
Unwinding is instant. Without even an outlet to change a device, an intermittent 12 volt current powers the rare, authentically vintage pendant light.
A gas stove toasts the best bread on an open flame, and a bath in the outhouse is planned hours in advance, by lighting a flame under a 44 gallon drum.
There are a few places to rest your head on the property, but Dingo Dam Cottage is my choice.
An original 1800's settlers cottage perched overlooking the watering hole, frequented by the livestock that roam the cottage surrounds.
As I glanced around at our new products inhabiting the kitchen as if they were borne of it, I realised it was the perfect place to share our first real glimpse of the beautiful organic bag range.
The following photos were spontaneously shot and remain unedited; the synchronicity of the raw product and it's surroundings weaving a magic that I won't dare constrain.
It gives me great pleasure to share this moment in time and the fruits of my most recent labour, all in one.
I hope you enjoy.
